A Demonstration of Warm-up Techniques With Young Children

Abstract

In this article, the author reports on a demonstration of 10 warmup techniques that were presented at a conference of educators and caretakers of young children. A small group of 5-year-olds chosen by the conference organizers acted as protagonists in presenting these techniques. During the sharing at the completion of the demonstration, the audience indicated that this was a positive learning experience.
